There are no life guards on duty, no fence or barrier restricting persons from entering the water and no depth signs. Under water hazards may exist and swimming is at your own risk. Are kayaks and tubes included in the cabana fee?

No, though we do rent them. You may add shuttle service, kayak and tube rentals to your cabana after selecting your cabana or pay for them when you get there. It is best to pay for in advance and select your time so we can be sure and have a shuttle ready for you at your desired time.

How long is the tube or kayak float?

Approximately 1.5 - 2 hours depending on the water level. Our shuttles run up river to our private 150 acre riverfront  put in and then our guests float down to their cabana.  There are two more bridges down river from Blue River Camp but you must run your own shuttle as we do not currently service this area.  Each bridge takes is about a 2 -4 hour tube float depending on water level or a 1.5 hour kayak ride, meaning if you kayak from FM 20 bridge to Blue River Camp and then continue on to the second bridge down river from the campground, it will take you approx.. 4 - 8 hours tubing or 3 hours by kayak.

How often do your shuttles run?

Shuttles run approximately every 30 minutes. It’s best to reserve your shuttle time ahead of time online so you are guaranteed a shuttle at your desired time. We do keep the shuttle-bus onsite so shuttle trips can be arranged at Blue river Camp, but parties with reserved shuttles made online are given priority.  Our shuttle run until 6:00 PM.

What should we bring?

Beach towels, charcoal, lighter fluid, BBQ utensils, ice, ice chest, favorite drinks and food, bug repellent and a smile – it’s time to have some fun!  We also recommend water shoes to protect your feet.
