How do I make a Reservation?

Reservations may be made online at sonsbluerivercamp.com/book-now or by calling 877-577-7667. The Renter/Responsible party must be 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Families are encouraged to stay.

Do you require a deposit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 50% is due at time of booking to make a reservation. The remaining balance is due 7 days before arrival.

What is your cancellation policy?

• More than 15 days notice prior to the booking date: 90% refund or credit
• Between 7 and 14 days prior to the booking date: 50% refund or credit
• Less than 7 days notice prior to the booking date: No refund or credit
• Same day reservation: No refund will be given

What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept cash onsite as well as Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. All payments should be made in US Dollars.

Do you allow pets?

No, we love pets but unfortunately our insurance does not allow them.

Question 7

Can we rent a cabin and then have a party or wedding at your property?

Accepted Answer

No, guest/renter may use the property as a private residence only. While we understand that you may have additional guests over, no parties, large groups or additional overnight guests are allowed exceeding the maximum occupancy. All guests must be registered and sign a liability waiver. Exceeding the maximum occupancy or having parties/large groups at the property will be reason for eviction without reimbursement. Maximum occupancy: 8 guests per Safari Cabin, 4 guests per Glamping Cabin.

Are the cabins wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately they are not. The Glamping Cabins are one step high and our Safari Cabins have a large front porch with several steps.

Question 9

Do the kitchens have everything to cook a meal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, our kitchens are stocked with all kitchen necessities you would need to make your meals. If you require any necessary kitchen gadgets that you are unsure we have, please bring them with you or ask us.

Are there lifeguards on duty?

Accepted Answer

There are no lifeguards on duty, no fence or barrier restricting persons from entering the water, and no depth signs. Underwater hazards may exist and swimming is at your own risk. Renter is responsible for the safety and well-being of all guests and is responsible for keeping a close watch on all swimmers as well as non-swimmers.

Can we use the fire pits and picnic areas?

You are allowed to use the fire pits and picnic table in the vicinity of your reservation. Please ensure all fires are extinguished after each use and monitor any flammable items or young children near open flames.

Yes! Son's Blue River Camp has Wi-Fi available at all of our glamping and safari cabins!
